This was the very first signature I did, although I realized too late the fact that it didn't have a transparent background, which resulted in the brushes going over Gallantmon X himself.

user posted image

This one came out better, as the image had a transparent background when I saved it, and so I just fooled around a bit with the grundge and fractal brushes.

user posted image

Mostly a test of colors and brushes for me, so was fooling around mostly. The sprite was actually animated, causing it to have like, five layers to go through... XD

user posted image

Figured out how to mostly remove backgrounds to make them transparent, and so redid my first signature.

Yes, I'm using mostly Digimon images as I get started.

One of my best early sigs, mostly with the messing around of colors and such. I think it came out nicely though.

Posted for a mythology-themed competition on ACE. I was doing it without internet, and I found out a little late that it was a restriction of 500x200... so I couldn't do much of a border.

messing around with my friend Skippy's pen tutorial of how to make lines glow.

user posted image

Recreated my Lucemon sig with a better version of both his Chaos and Shadow Lord modes.

user posted image

More messing around with a friend's path tutorial, although the text didn't come out as I wanted it to.

user posted image

Aimed to follow one tutorial, failed at it, and ended up doing something completely different.

user posted image

Playing around with fractal backgrounds, then decided to try some smudging effects.

I like the background on the first one.
I also like the one with the Tiger thing. Though, The japanese/english text thing puts me off a bit. While it does work I think it should be a bit more fancy, like on it's plaiting above it's paws. But thats just me.

I like the Midna one too.

I got bored one day, decided to try some of the preset brush effects and stuff... Came out with this. XD

user posted image

Tried to make it a transparent background, but failed... XD Didn't know how to do it. So, came out with this.

user posted image

Nothing meant to be serious, just wanted to play around with the windblown effect.

This was a work in progress on GIMP, but now that I went to Photoshop CS4, I'm not sure if I'll ever complete it... I might try what a friend suggested on GIMP one more time before I move to CS4 for good.

user posted image

Created after being gone from GIMP for a very long time, a friend of mine took it and touched it up big time. Made following several tuts to try and remember what to do.

user posted image

Following yet another tut, but I think I picked a rather hard render to try and do it on... Didn't come out as well as I hoped, but I did get the render from Zeldawiki biggrin.gif

user posted image

First time following the same tutorial I used on the Auron sig. This one didn't come out quite like I liked... maybe because of the type of render I used.

Well, here's my first signature finished and made in Photoshop CS4... although I had to go back into GIMP to add the borders to it. do they have an option like what GIMP does for auto-creating borders easily?

user posted image

Well, not really a signature, but some playing around with a stock image and a render.

user posted image

I think I kinda understand how the history brush works, so I started playing with it. Using it with a black and white setting on a screenshot from an MMO where the focus of the shot has dark colored armor? Not my brightest idea yet.

user posted image

I kept getting far along then getting an idea of a different filter to use to make it better... so yeah, it was a pain to do this. Came out nice though I think.

First project made at college, done while sitting in the dorm lobby. Followed a tut on dA making it.

Signature made for a sig contest on the -=ACE=- forums with a Mario theme. I decided to use the render of Mario from DDR Mario Mix to see how I could do things... I liked how I made the abstract render on the left side flow with him, but I couldn't figure out how to improve the background any more than what I had. Very frustrating. I was also trying to see if there was some way to only make the green lines brighter without having to use a tiny brush on every single one of them. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a way.

I feel like I had to take two steps back on this thing.

Here's the deal: I'm taking public speaking, and I have a how-to speech coming up. My teacher told me that I should teach the class how to make something in Photoshop. Well, in order to do that, I had to come from complicated to really simple, which is hard as I wanted to add so many more effects to this, but didn't have time to.

user posted image

Made while suffering from the aftereffects of a flu shot... and this is just incomplete so far... I hit a road block on trying to figure out how to improve it.

user posted image

Turned out quite well except for a few issues with me messing up the stupid canvas... hence why the box looks a little messed up in the upper right. And apparently the render was rather choppy and I didn't realize it.

user posted image

Another breakout signature, this has to be the brightest I've ever made a sig... I'm not too happy with the background, and I had trouble making the render blend in with the sig...
